There are no restore points#
- The guard isn't on. Press Turn on the guard on its page, and choose Yes.
- System Protection is off, and your organization's policy turned it off: the Watchman leaves that choice alone. Ask whoever manages the PC.
- Keep System Protection on is off in Settings.
An update can't be removed#
Some updates can't be removed on their own, such as Windows' big monthly update. The page says so. A restore point from before it is the way back: Restore to this, beside it.
Make one now made no restore point#
Windows makes at most one restore point a day this way. The page says when it made none. The newest one is still there.
A driver went bad#
Drivers aren't removed here. Restore to a point from before it, or, for a graphics driver, see the Lamplighter.
A setting didn't change what the guard does#
The guard takes a changed setting when it is set up again: Turn off the guard, then Turn on the guard, choosing Yes at each prompt.
Its page won't open#
Its page is http://watchman.localhost:21111/. Open on its card in Castellan starts it if it's down, and Castellan checks every two minutes that it answers, and opens it again if it has stopped. The guard runs on its own, whether the page is open or not.
