It doesn't say my memory is below its speed#

  • It's a laptop, or the memory is on the board: its speed is the maker's, so it isn't flagged.
  • The kit is from another maker than Corsair, G.Skill, Kingston FURY and HyperX, Crucial or TeamGroup. Its speed is read from the module itself, which reports its standard speed, not its XMP or EXPO profile. Check the speed on the kit's box against the one on the Farrier's page.

Resizable BAR says "not read"#

It's read on NVIDIA cards only. On an AMD or Intel card, check it in your PC's BIOS.

It doesn't find my games#

It finds games in Steam, Epic and GOG Galaxy. Games from the Xbox app, the EA app, Ubisoft Connect and Battle.net aren't read yet.

A setting it fixed changed back#

An update, a driver or another app can change a setting back. The Farrier says so at its next look: press Fix again. To have it look now, press Look now.

I want to keep a setting as it is#

Press Leave it as it is, and it isn't suggested again. Suggest again brings it back. For mouse acceleration, turn Suggest turning off pointer precision off in its settings.

I want a fix undone#

Press Undo on the finding: the Farrier puts back what was there before.

Its page won't open#

Its page is http://farrier.localhost:21919/. Open on its card in Castellan starts it if it's down, and Castellan checks every two minutes that it answers, and opens it again if it has stopped.
